Community & Service

This year in school, I have done a great amount of Community and Service. I have joined a committee in school called the 'Academic Committee', in this we look at the school and think of ways we can improve the students's learning. We have already enforced rules and made sure that deadlines are kept,(even for the teachers) we cannot do all of this but we suggest it to the managers of the school.
I have joined a club named the 'Eco Club', our target is to get the C.O.B.I.S Green flag back for the school.
I have done many other minor CAS activities like helping on a Fair trade stand in a church, helping at the school library and other activities.
This year, I have joined again the BISS MYP 3 ECO Club and I have chosen to educate little children and teach them to play a sport called Ice Hockey, I do this every wednesday for 2 hours. I was also asked to help a fantastic musician in her performing the last post in front of the mayor, army, police and the rest of the town to pay their respects to the deceased, I did this twice on the same day at Eiganes cemetary and Sola cemetary on the 9th November 2014 as a memorial service for WW1.
